At first I used to think exactly like a typical girl where I was afraid of gaining weight if I would eat such Indian sweets. But nothing has stopped me from satisfying my craving when it comes to Indian sweets and one of my favorite sweets would be the Laddoo the unique flavor and varieties of Laddoos have always captured my taste buds where it is impossible to resist it.
There is no one whom dislikes sweets because everywhere we can find sweets. When it comes to any occasions, ceremonies or events there will definitely be varieties of sweet such as snacks, cakes and many more sweets. Indians always start their special occasion with a bite of sweet. For the Indian when it comes to any auspicious or good news Indians belief to eat a pinch of sugar or bite a sweet and even their own traditional sweets which shows a form of happiness.
BENEFITS OF EATING SWEETS
Typically Indian sweets are considered very unhealthy because most of the Indian sweets are high in calories. Bite into an Indian sweet and it can create a spike in your blood glucose levels or results in unhealthy weight gain. But that’s not exactly true, because taking an bite into an Indian sweet is like taking a walk in the beach you will feel the originality just the way because most of the Indian Sweets are traditional and well prepared with the finest ingredients. There are also several Indian desserts that are low in calorie.
When it comes to making an Indian Sweets in India, it is traditionally made without any ridden chemicals ,bleached and processed because the sugars that the Indians used is called as the jaggery (gur in North India and Vellum in Tamil Nadu. This sugar is used primarily from natural ingredients like sugar cane and occasionally from palm and date palm. This sugar is milky brown colour and is used naturally in deserts, beverages and even making other varieties of Indian Sweet it will be added into the recipe.
There was no guilt while eating jaggery, because in addition to its sweetness, there was another gift it gave us—it nourished the body with plenty of micronutrients and minerals. As an Indian i feel very proud and thankful for having Indian Sweets. I am always excited to eat any Indian Sweets and Ladoos have been always my favourite I think that the way it is being prepared is not easy and yet it taste as good as it looks. One of my favourite will be the coconut Ladoo. This white balls is covered with covered with coconut and just look like a snow ball with ice on it and looks perfect. I was excited when to even see how it was being prepared in a YouTube video which was very interesting and easy. .Coconut is a tropical fruit and it was very creative of the Indians where they came out the recipes of creating this incredible Indian Sweet such as the Coconut Ladoo.
At first I thought that it won’t be as delicious as eating a real coconut and I thought that it won’t be easy to make such Laddoos, but after randomly looking at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIwg-ECi-1Q it was very interesting because the way to prepare such Coconut Laddoo was very easy and very fresh as well. It was traditionally made yet it still looks amazingly beautiful and unique.
For me Indian Sweet is still my favorite and I will never stop eating such Sweets. Will have my limits when it comes to eating any Sweets but will never stop from eating Indian Sweet especially Laddoos.
